Marilyn Uncovered

Never before released photos of the matchless Marilyn Monroe were uncovered by Life.com last month. Sweetly sexy in bikini top and high-waisted shorts, the 24-year-old budding model and actress likely took the photos for a cover shoot that never went to print. It seems that no one at Life.com even knew they were ever taken. "She [hadn't] really exploded as a star, yet she was on the brink of something big," says Dawnie Walton, deputy editor at Life.com, who stumbled upon the rare photographs while streaming through the 7 million photograph's in the company's digital archives.
